Just a Note…

Happy Summer! As we kick off this holiday weekend I'm excited to share my new single
'You, and the Red, White & Blue which is playing everywhere you listen to music and available on my new website conniehoward.com. 

                                           

Co-written with Darren Talbot who writes 'packed my dreams in a borrowed suitcase, left my home and my Mother's grace, said goodbye to everyone I loved....above the clouds mile after mile the Emerald skies turned to 'You, and the Red, White & Blue.  As they say in Nashville, all you need are 3 chords and the truth. Though with a few more chords here, these heartfelt lyrics resonate with so many of us who have family that came to this country as did mine from Ireland, England and Poland.  I hope you find the song to be as moving and emotional as I do.

My latest album 'Island of Dreams' which is now streaming on all digital platforms and in CD format can be purchased by clicking o the cover designs below.  I'm often asked if people still buy CDs and the answer is a resounding - YES!  For me, it just doesn't feel complete to write, record and release a song online without also being able to see, feel and hear it. I enjoy the creative process of creating the covers often with photos I've taken and giving credit to the musicians, producers and co-writers who all contribute to making a great album.

'Let's Take Manhattan'  is the title track, a love song to my favorite City: 'Let's take Manhattan, from Central Park to Staten Island, stroll along the City streets to a Broadway tune. Kiss under stars in Grand Central Station as if we're on vacation, where every heart beat sets us free.  Let's take Manhattan - it's the 'Island of Dreams.'  Anyone who loves NYC will certainly enjoy this upbeat tribute.
                   
The single 'My Kind of Crazy' has a Latin vibe and features me on the accordion.  Stay tuned for more recordings with the accordion to be released later this month. They will be posted on my website which can be found clicking on  the conniehoward.com link.  Shout out to my web designer Chris Cirilli who did an awesome job designing it!
